Ranger

The Hero's Journey Ranger is a very unique class compared to its counterpart in different games. The Rangers derive from the Kinnaes, and were hunted down at the start of the Sundering. By living off of the land, Rangers learned the best way to hide, and kill an opponent. "To strike from a distance, and disable an opponent before you get cornered or killed.

Somethings you may find interesting about how Simutronics is making the Ranger are the abilities that have been spoken of. There will be a wide variety of bow-shooting styles. Some abilities include arrow flurries, weapon disarms, tracking, and immobilizations. It also seems that a Ranger will be able to summon a creature of the forest to fight with him. This animal companion will be able to eat a corpse, possibly to revitalize its stamina or some sort of attribute.

Ability Examples

Arrow Swarm - Fires a volley of arrows either in a concentrated or sparse pattern, depending on skill.

Summon Companion - Rangers can summon companions to aid them in combat. The type and abilities of the creature can be controlled via alternate Wyr.

Track - Rangers are more attuned to Elanthia than any other inhabitant. This attunement allows them to track enemies within range.
