Gearknight
Standing in the midst of a sea of enemies while they relentlessly release barrage after barrage of fury upon him, the Gearknight values protection just as much as he values powerful punches. Gearknights are the brick walls that take a non-stop beating while the weaker elements of the party keep a safe distance.
Though Warriors can stand and defend a party if needed, Gearknights have truly turned defense into a craft, perfecting and honing the skill. Gearknights also make use of few ranged abilities such as grappling hooks and mortars, useful for drawing out or drawing enemy focus.
Ability Examples
Earth Hammer - The Gearknight turns his fist into a hammer, which he then smashes into the ground. The impact causes knockback and damage.
Magnatron - Defensive ability that allows the Gearknight attract enemies to himself by creating a charged field (produced from surrounding aether energy) around himself .
Mortar - Conjuring ability that allows the Gearknight to phase a mortar tube from the realm of Gear into Elanthia. The conjured mortar tube then can be used to do ranged damage on enemies.
