Hero's Journey is offering a non-static world in which players will thrive in. No longer will you just run out into a 'hunting ground', and start killing mobs, you will now have a purpose for everything you choose to do.
Quests in Hero's Journey as well are unique. Unlike previous MMORPG's in which you killed X number of mobs, and recieve Y items, or go gather X amount of plants to receive Y items. In Hero's Journey you will be given very complex quests that require you to be quick on your toes, think quickly, and have a lot more fun then just grind!
Imagine this, you and your party are journeying through a vast forest, filled with green trees, deer running around, and birds chirping in the air. Then the next moment a black arrow hisses through the wind, and catches one of your teamates off guard in the shoulder. You then get ambushed by a very tricky group of Ukars who are using abilities, and a great sense of what is going on to destroy your party. Imagine being able to actually have a different outcome every time you did something. Nothing will ever be the same in Hero's Journey. Welcome to a non-static world.
Oh yea, did I mention the Simutronics motto for making Hero's Journey is "More fun, less tedium?". We're talking hours, days, months of content with no grind! There will be something new to do every day, whether it be a Earth Dragon attacking Quillmore city, or a band of Urkal Rogues blocking a path for supplies to get through, you will always be needed. You are a hero of course!
